Additional Information

Dallas Perryman Willingham:
Buried: UNKNOWN, Confederate Cemetery, Austin, Travis Co., Texas

from an e-mail by Gladys Wilson (gwilsonx@flash.net) forwarded to me by Carlian Pittman :

"Dallas Perryman Willingham is shown in the 1850 census of Sevier Co. Ark.He is
in the household with Elizabeth D. Willingham and family. Father, Thomas
Willingham had died in 1848 according to some deeds found in the record books.
Dallas joined the confederate army at the age of 15 and was wounded in the
war. He died at the age of 84 years at the Texas Confederate Home in Austin
Tx. and is buried in the state cementery in Austin, Tx. Before going to the
Confederate Home Dallas traded a Model T. Ford for some mineral rights from
which his descendents are still receiving a small royalty check."

Sarah Lenora Canzada Parker:
Buried: UNKNOWN, Duffau, Erath Co., Texas

from an e-mail by Gladys Wilson (gwilsonx@flash.net) forwarded to me by Carlian Pittman :

"Sarah Parker Willingham in buried in the the cemetery at Duffau, Erath Co. Tx.
Sarah is found in the 1850 census of Sevier Co. Ark. in the family of Jesse B.
Parker and wife Elizabeth. I have not been able to find Jesse anymore but the
older children have married and are around Sevier and Scott Co. Ark. There is
a Louisa Parker age 15 in the household of John Billingsly. I wonder if this
might be our Sarah. The family tradition says that Sarah is related to Cynthia
Ann Parker who was captured by the indians when she was nine and became the
mother of Quanah Parker who was the chief of the Quahadi Comanches. As far as
I know this has not been proven. Much research needs to be done here."
